There are many subtleties, recommendations, and over-complicated versions of how to store and serve wines: We break it down to several easy-to-follow instructions for each category of wine that are simple, fall-proof and used world-wide.

Sparkling:

1. Keep still on its side in a cool, dark and relatively dry environment until refrigeration.

2. Never attempt to open when not refrigerated.

3. Open and serve at 6-10 Celsius and consume within 24h

White & rose:

1. Keep still on its side in a cool, dark and relatively dry environment until refrigeration.

2. Open and serve at 6-11 Celsius (8-16 for heavily oaked whites), and consume within 3 days.

Red:

1. Keep still on its side in a cool, dark and relatively dry environment until serving.

2. The ideal serving temperature varies from 14-18 Celsius, respectively better for lighter to fuller-bodied wines.

3. Older or highly tannic reds are best left to breathe or be decanted before serving, you can find individual serving suggestions on the product page of the reds that require these steps.
